RGM Golf Management is a privately held golf management firm that focuses on detailed attention to its clients’ needs. The philosophy of the firm is to gain an understanding of each client’s personal desires and needs, and then develop a customized plan to reach these goals. RGM Golf Management is a newly formed golf management company based in Sugar Land, Texas and founded by Evan Johansen, the former CEO of Redstone Golf Management. RGM Golf Management was formed through the purchase of Redstone Golf Management, a leading golf management company since 1997. At its peak, Redstone Golf Management had a portfolio of eleven 18 hole courses at 9 different clubs. With 790 employees, the company generated revenues of $33 million. The clubs had 1700 memberships with a total of 3300 members.
During his fourteen year tenure with Redstone Golf Management, Evan directed the ground up construction of the golf courses, clubhouses and all other support facilities, including locker room expansions, an office building, parking lot, fitness facility, pool, and golf teaching academy. Ongoing operations focused on; agronomic conditions, fiscal responsibility, membership sales, revenue generation,
retail, food and beverage, public relations.
